Logan, who is playing in his sixth season in the Toronto Blue Jays system, drew a walk and scored in the first inning and ripped a second-inning double to center field, plating three runs for New Haven, which jumped out to a 10-0 lead after four frames. In the fifth, the 24-year-old launched a one-out offering over the right field wall to drive in three more runs, recording his first home run in his last 122 at-bats. DUNEDIN... 1B MIKE SNYDER went 3-for-3 with a double, homer and two RBI on August 22 in an 8-6 win against Fort Myers. The next night, RHP JESSE HARPER tossed six scoreless innings, yielding five hits, in a 3-2 win over the Miracle in the first game of a doubleheader. In the second game, RHP VINCE PERKINS turned in six scoreless innings of his own (5 H, 0 BB, 4 SO) in a 3-1 win. Through August 27, Harper was tied for second in the league with 12 wins and Perkins owned a 2.50 ERA in 17 outings with the club...

SS RAUL TABLADO hit .459 (17-37, 4 2B, 2 3B, 2 HR, 6 RBI) in 11 games August 12-23. He scored a run in eight consecutive games August 15-23....

CHARLESTON-WV... RHP SANDY NIN and RHP FELIX ROMERO combined on the first nine-inning no-hitter in franchise history as the Alley Cats blanked Greensboro, 6-0, August 24. Nin was perfect over the first 5 2/3 innings before yielding a walk. Overall, the 23-year-old allowed a pair of walks and struck out three over seven innings for the win, improving to 7-8 with a 2.89 ERA in 23 starts. Romero tossed a pair of perfect frames, striking out one, to complete the second no-hitter against Greensboro this season. Kannapolis' Brian Miller recorded seven no-hit innings in the first game of a doubleheader vs. the Bats back on June 10. For Charleston-WV, it was the first no-hitter for the club since Buddy Carlyle pitched one in the opening game of a doubleheader against Asheville Tourists on May 4, 1997...

Cota legged out his first triple of the year in the opening inning. After doubling and scoring in the third, the 5-11, 180-pounder smacked his fourth home run of the year leading off the fifth. He completed the performance with a two-out single in the seventh. This season is just the second since 1990 to feature more than one cycle in the circuit; the other being 2001...
