Scouting report
| |
Allison started last season with limited playing time in his freshman season. He gained more experience as the year progressed, playing 20 or more minutes in 11 of the Wildcats' last 13 games.
Basketball's gain of Allison was football's loss because Florida and Ohio State heavily recruited him. That football ability serves him well on the basketball court with his hard-driving style to the basket. Allison is also noted for his quickness, which fits in with Kentucky's racehorse style.
Allison should be a major part of Kentucky's year of transition. His performance could be a factor in determining Kentucky's level of success. The Wildcats will be mixing in new faces, but Allison should get an ample chance to show what he can do.
