Fusaichi Pegasus wins 126th Kentucky Derby
For the first time since 1979, the favorite came away victorious in the Kentucky Derby, as Fusaichi Pegasus came through with a late run to the front in the 126th Run for the Roses. Pegasus, which started from the 14th post position, ran in the middle of the pack most of the race before exploding down the stretch for the victory.
